1985 Rallye Dakar Poster
1985 the year of Live Aid concerts, NES, and Michael Jordan. This was also the year that Belgian Gaston Rahier won the Dakar Rally from Paris to Dakar on a huge and broken BMW. The BMW was patched together from a crash in the first stage involving a truck, it held a whooping 60-liters of fuel and the BMW had so much ground clearance it was almost taller than Gaston Rahier.
This poster pays homage to the toughest Paris to Dakar Rally ever raced. Beautifully designed and printed locally. Looks great in the garage or the living room.
