About Moto 49

We are a community garage and gathering spot, created for a new kind of motorcycle enthusiast. Here, you’ll find good vibes, great coffee, cool merch, and like-minded friends in an inclusive and relaxed space.
Moto 49 offers our members a fully equipped DIY shared garage where beginners can get started on their first bike, or experienced riders can fully service or rebuild their machines. Choose from a range of monthly memberships based on what you need.
We also host everything from movie nights to wrench nights to group rides – whatever gets our community talking, wrenching, and riding together.

In the heart of Canada.
We are located in beautiful Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Our city resides on the original lands of Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene peoples and homeland of the Métis Nation, and is in Treaty 1 Territory. We love this city and its people, and we want to see it continue to grow and evolve into the place we all want it to be.
If you’re from around Winnipeg, we hope you’ll stop by and say hi. If you’re not from around here, let us be the first to introduce you to our friendly city, our thriving moto culture, and the endless kilometres of beautiful open roads under huge prairie skies, just waiting for you and your bike.

At the heart of who we are.
Our three core values are the foundation of Moto 49:
  1. We are passionate about people, and about everyone’s right to feel safe and seen.
  2. We care about the environment and are committed to a sustainable, full-circle business model and lifestyle.
  3. Giving back, helping others, and building community will always be our priority.

Moto 49 gives back.
We sponsored The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2018 in support of the Movember project and prostate cancer. We participated in The Growler Motorcycle Show 2019 at Little Brown Jug, donating 10% of our proceeds from merchandise sales to the partnership between Pow Wow Moto and Tough Duck that aims to provide workwear and additional financial support to one female Indigenous carpentry student enrolled in the Indigenous Carpentry Program offered by the Indigenous Leadership Development Institute.
